USPTO Rescinds Director Vidal’s Fintiv Guidance

In an announcement today, the USPTO rescinded guidance issued by former Director Kathi Vidal related to discretionary denials.  The guidance memo, which has been removed from the USPTO’s website, can be viewed HERE.  It looks like Fintiv may be back in full force.
